Who is Rozenkwekerij De Wilde
Rozenkwekerij De Wilde is market leader in the sale of outdoor roses in the Benelux. Roses are tested, stored and propagated using the latest production methods. All of this is done by an enthusiastic and professional team of suppliers and staff. You are therefore assured of the very best quality roses of authentic varieties.

Our roses are sold at a number of horticultural and garden centres in the Benelux. Furthermore, we have been delivering roses and related products for more than 50 years, not only in the Benelux but far beyond. 

Origins
In 1921 the company began with the propagation of roses and fruit trees in the Netherlands. In a later phase it added climbing plants to the range. The first sales were to municipalities and gardeners, but later this was expanded to include end consumers. This has ensured that every year more than 10 million roses bloom in the summertime in the Netherlands whose origins are at our nursery. The sale of roses is supported by a magnificent rose garden in Zutphen, the Netherlands, that is open to visitors all year round. Sales via the internet

Annually occurring activities at our nursery in Zutphen, the Netherlands are:
- First 4 Saturdays in March:         Rose pruning days
During detailed tours in the rose gardens of Rozenkwekerij De Wilde in Zutphen the pruning and care of roses is demonstrated.Anyone who masters the correct technique can enjoy a garden, terrace or balcony full of beautiful flowering rose bushes in the summer. That is why Rozenkwekerij De Wilde organises the rose pruning days in March. An entire rose movement, so it would appear from the thousands of interested parties. The demonstrations start at 10am and occur every hour on the hour after that. The last demonstration starts at 3pm. Entry is free.

- Two Fridays and Saturdays in November:            Harvest days
In October the roses are removed from the ground and brought to the nursery. In November the nursery is full with fresh rosebushes and the assortment is broader than ever.
During the tours specialists explain all aspects of care before a rose is delivered. Furthermore, attention is given to winter care of the rose garden, including autumn pruning, fertilization and protection against frost for shrub and standard roses.Our visitors are treated at the New Harvest Days to delicious hot chocolate and the special Zutphen spicy cake.The New harvest Days are held from 10am to 4pm. The tours take place at 11am and 2pm. Admission is free.
