'Acer campestre', also called field maple, is very suitable as a decorative hedge. It flowers yellow-green in April and can eventually reach a height of around 12 meters as a tree. At the beginning of May the faded flowers develop into hanging fruits. You can determine the height of the hedge yourself by pruning the hedge. The advice is to prune the hedge in the months of April and September in order to keep the hedge tight and compact. The hedge is otherwise very resistant to almost all factors and is able to grow in any soil.
