This butterfly bush carries purple-red flowers and dark green, lance-shaped leaves. The flowers spread a pleasant scent. It is a medium-sized shrub with a high ornamental value. You can place this plant both in the sun and in the partial shade. The shrub should be pruned in the spring, first removing all weak branches and then cutting the remaining branches to 15-45 cm. If the plant stands behind other plants in, for example, a border, it is sufficient to prune back to 1 to 1.5 meters.
