This deciduous climber flowers from June to September with small orange flowers in the shape of a trumpet. After flowering, the plant receives small black fruits / berries. The 'Lonicera dropmore scarlet' is very hardy and its temperatures up to -28 degrees Celsius are no problem for this plant. The plant gives the best growth when it is planted in fertile soil and in a spot in the partial shade or in full sun.
